Boarding FAQs

Is vaccination required?
Yes! 

Dogs require a yearly C5 vaccination which includes Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, and Bordetella

Cats require a yearly F3 vaccination which includes Panleukopenia, Herpesvirus and Calicivirus

For initial vaccinations (kitten and puppy), we require pets to receive the final round of their vaccinations fourteen days or more prior to check-in. For booster vaccinations, we require seven days or more prior to check-in. If your pet's vaccination is overdue, please discuss this with our Customer Service Team. Full vaccination requirements can be found in clause 7 of our Terms and Conditions.

Puppy and Kitten vaccinations:

We require puppies and kittens to have three rounds of vaccinations, with their final vaccination given more than two weeks before boarding.

Age limits and boarding requirements:

  • All pets over ten years of age require a health check to be completed by their vet prior to boarding (we will provide a health check form to be filled out by your vet).
  • We do not accept any pets fifteen years and older for boarding.
  • We do not accept pets with stitches.
  • Pets that have been desexed must be assessed by your vet and have 10 days between the procedure and boarding.
  • We do not accept unaltered females in season.
  • Unaltered male and female dogs cannot board together
  • Short Stay suites are only for small dogs up to 40cm at the shoulder, under 10 years old and over 1 year old, no significant medical concerns. Click here for more info.

Is food included in the price? 
Yes, we provide dry food only, your pets are fed twice daily unless otherwise specified otherwise by you.

Can we bring our own food, if our dog is on a specific diet?
Yes, and in fact this is preferred as often quick changes in diet can cause stomach upsets in your beloved pets. We ask you to bring your pet's food pre-portioned and labeled for each meal (excluding tinned food). If your pet is staying with us for an extended period, we do not require dry food to be pre-portioned, as the original package is acceptable.

What items doesn't Beau's accept? 

  • Feeding Bowls - We have plenty (we do accept slow feeders and raised feeding stands)
  • Bones (of any sort, including but not limited to marrow, raw, smoked, and/or cooked)
  • Bean Bags (or any item with bean bag filler)
  • Chicken Carcasses
  • Kangaroo Tails
  • Raw Hides
  • Chicken Necks
  • Turkey Necks

Is food included in the price? 
Yes, we provide dry food only, your pets are fed twice daily unless otherwise specified otherwise by you.

What brand of food do you use?
We offer Advance or Optimum dry food, large or small breed for our dogs. For our cats, Advance dry food, in chicken.

What can I bring to Beau's?

We recommend you to bring minimal items (3 items per guest):

  • Own food individually packaged in bags or containers, with tins acceptable
  • Slow feeder bowls
  • Raised feeder stands
  • Coat/PJs
  • Medication with vet label
  • One bed
  • One blanket
  • One favourite toy

Will it be noisy for my pet being near the airport?
No. We have state-of-the-art soundproofing and insulation.

Do you offer grooming for dogs who are not boarding?
Yes. Our Grooming Stylists can groom and pamper your dog. We recommend pre-booking for this service. Call us on 8115 6080 or make your enquiry here.

I am taking a morning flight and would like to drop my dog off on the way to the airport. Can I check them in during the morning?
We offer flexible check-in and check-out appointment times, which are between 8 - 11 am and 3 - 6 pm Monday to Sunday. Appointments are subject to availability and confirmed at the time of booking.

Is there staff on-site 24x7?

The safety of our pets is of utmost priority for us here at Beau’s Pet Hotel. We have motion sensors and 24x7 CCTV that Beau's Management have access to anytime, anywhere. 

What days can my dog attend DayCare and how much does it cost? 

Current operating times are 7:00 am – 6:30 pm Monday to Friday. We offer casual rates and 5, 10, and 20-day packages, all costs can be found here.

What are the Dimensions of Suites? 

  • Classic: Comfortable 1.3 x 2.7m
  • Deluxe: Spacious 3 metre x 3 metre internal suites
  • Premier: Spacious 2.5 metre x 2.5 metre with an attached private enclosed courtyard
  • Cat Loft Condo: 610 x 937mm
  • Cat Penthouse Condo: 900 x 937mm

I have two dogs can they share accommodation and will that be at a reduced price?
Yes. Dogs that live together can stay together, apart from the Short Stay suites. Our team will recommend the most suitable suite/s for your dogs based on their size, age and special conditions, such as medical concerns. For your dog's safety, dogs who do not live together cannot share a room. Get Quote/Book Now to get an estimate of your pets' stay. You can update the suite options to get different quotes.

I have two cats can they share accommodation and will that be at a reduced price?
Yes. Cats that live together and are from the same social group can stay together in a Penthouse Condo. Cats who live together often tolerate each other but are not in the same social group. You will know if your cat is in the same social group as they will sleep together and groom each other, if your cats don’t do this then you will need to book them into separate condos so they can enjoy their own space but are able to be socialised together in the amazing cat atrium. When the cat condo door is closed, is there sufficient airflow?
Yes absolutely. Each condo has fresh air constantly flowing through the internal vents and out through the gap around the tempered glass fronts.

Are the cats allowed to play outside their condos?
For sure!  Our cat atrium is amazing with a huge 75” TV., water wall, and pond for those cats that love playing with water. Toys galore, cat climbing wall with hidey holes, scratching pads, and plenty more to keep them happy. They can either chill out in the atrium by themselves or with other family cats that are compatible. And of course, they’ll get lots of smooches and cuddles during the day!

What if I need to cancel my pet's boarding booking? 
You must give notice to Beau’s Pet Hotel within 7 days of the scheduled boarding start date if you wish to cancel a booking. The refund of any amounts already paid to Beau’s Pet Hotel at the time of cancellation will be forfeited.
